The winner of this invitational event will represent North America in the 16-player final knockout Fujitsu World Championship tournament which will be played in Japan early next year. The exact date for the Fujitsu Qualifier has not yet been set, according to club organizers Chuck Robbins and Sam Zimmerman, who are checking dates in November 2000 and early January of 2001.
