SELF-PAIRED TOURNAMENT Martin Lebl continues to dominate the field (leading in the Champion, Sensei, Straight Shooter, Hurricane and Dedicated divisions) but Horst Sudhoff (all the way from Germany) is now tied for the lead in the Philanthropist division with Jim Pickett and George Schmitten, and Ian Ruskty has taken over the Faithful lead. Nathaniel Curran still leads in the Grasshopper, Jeff Horn is holding onto a slim lead in the Keith Arnold and George chmitten is maintaining a solid lead in the Optimist. IN MEMORIUM: SKIP ASCHEIM The Massachusetts Go Association lost its long time president last weekend when Skip Ascheim died, reports Howard Marshall. "Skip will be remembered as the most important single force in keeping the MGA alive and active for more than two decades," Marshall says. "A passionate, generous man of the theater," said Ed Siegel of the Boston Globe.
