Fall Tournament at University of Puget Sound

What: Four rounds of AGA-rated Tournament GO!
Where: In Tacoma WA at University of Puget Sound, Murray Board Room in the Wheelock Student Union Building.
When: Saturday, October 25, 2003. Registration at 10:00 a.m.; first round at 10:30 a.m.
Time limits: to be announced
Who: Brought to you by the Tacoma / University of Puget Sound Go Club.
How much: $5 tournament fee to help cover the cost of prizes.
AGA membership: Required; available at the tournament for $5, $10, $20, or $30. For Canadian residents, current CGA membership will be accepted instead.
- $5 "nonmember" rating fee is good for only one tournament
- $10 "limited membership" is valid for tournaments for one year
- $20 "E-Journal Games membership" is valid at tournaments for a year, and includes a year's subscription to the Games Edition of the American Go E-Journal
- $30 "full membership" is good at tournaments for a year, and includes the AGEJ Games Edition and the American Go Journal quarterly magazine

This was a fun small tournament. Writing in Jan. 2006, I remember little except that Chris Kirschner and Phil Straus were there. (It was shortly after the AGA's palace coup. I wasn't privy to their conversation, but I think Mr. Straus flew out to support Mr. Kirschner while the political mess got sifted.)
